  • Comfortable reserved seats: More legroom, side table for your food/drinks and you option to select your seats beforehand
  • Specialty Food Menu: There are servers who take your order and bring it to your seat. You must pay when you order (cash, debit card, credit card) and you have to order before the film trailers start.

What is the age requirement

How much is it?
Regular price: $18.75
Tuesday special price: $13.75
Scene members Tuesday discount: $12.37

Where is it available?
It is available in few locations across Canada but as for Quebec residents, it is currently only available in Brossard.

For more information about Cineplex VIP, you can visit their website.

Online Reservation

I usually reserve my tickets online especially when I have the option to reserve seats.
Screenshot of their seating map

While I was selecting the seats for VIP, it seemed like the seats were separated from each other but when we got there, it wasn't the case at all...
We went on Tuesday and since I have the Scene card, we each paid $12.37. I reserved our tickets the night before. They emailed me the booking ID and barcode.

VIBE 2014 ft. Mickey Singh Live in Montreal

Mickey Singh performed at Arena alongside with Aman Singh DJ-Ice on March 28th 2014. A number of models and organizers of Montreal Shaadi Show 2 were present at the event.

Click here for more information of the event.

You can also check out my other posts from that night:

Photographers
Just like many people, I took photos and videos through my Iphone, so the quality isn't amazing.
Luckily, there were 2 photographers who covered the event:
I shared some of their photos in this post but you check their full album on their Facebook pages.

DJ turn it up...
Before the show began, DJs from Jannat Productionz played some good songs and kept the party going.

Let the show begin...
First appeared Dahov, a celebrity percussionist.

Dahov
Dahov is well known for his Tam Tam & Percussion shows. This was my first time seeing him perform live. He's truly amazing! I loved his performance! He's so talented and full of energy!

Mickey Singh finally made his entrance and performed on some of his songs from his debut album MICK'S TAPE (Bad Girl, In love & Snap Back) along with songs by other artists.

  • Bad Girl by Mickey Singh & Waseem Stark
Mickey Singh made an entrance to his popular song "Bad Girl." I love this song! I can listen to it non-stop.
It was produced by Waseem Stark. The video was directed by Irene MahmudClick here to watch the video on his YouTube channel.

  • In Love by Mickey Singh ft. Asim Azhar
Not only is he a good singer but he can also dance... He showed some of his moves while performing on his other song "In Love, which features Asim Azhar

  • Snap Back by Mickey Singh ft. Amar Sandhu
Here's a short clip of him performing on "Snap Back," one of the songs from his album...

Dhol
Then appeared Vick Singh Kaura with a dhol. I love dhols! The vibe just changes whenever a dhol is brought in and it's hard to refrain yourself from dancing.

The guy in the following video certainly seemed to have had a good time...

Morni by Punjabi MC
Mickey Singh continued to perform on songs by other artists... One of the songs included Morni by Punjabi MC, which is quite famous. I like it. It's actually very catchy.

My Overall Impression of his performance..
I was really impressed by the energy he has on stage. He's a good dancer too. I enjoyed his performance overall!
I will definitely be on a look out for his next show in Montreal!

Mangalyam Bridal Show

Mangalyam Me & You is a South Asian company providing an online listing of wedding vendors. It also provides the listing in printed form through their Mangalyam Magazine. However, this was their first year hosting a bridal show, which took place at Le Château Royal. Although the fashion show started at 4 PM, various exhibitors were present as early as noon.

Photo posted on Mangalyam Website

Parking & Entrance
My friends and I got there at about a quarter to 4 PM. The hall's parking lot was full but we parked in the parking lot of the building next to it.
And we finally entered Le Château Royal...
Screen at the Entrance of Le Château Royal
We already had our tickets, so we simply presented them and went upstairs to leave our jackets at coat check.
We came back down and saw a table with a cake and various desserts. Everything looked delicious! Sadly they were for decorating purposes only.

Entrance to the Show

There were no seats left when we got there. Unlike us, many people got there early to reserve seats. We were expecting it to be full and we even tried to get there a little earlier but it just didn't happen. Oh well! Hopefully next year!

Before I get into the show itself, here are some details and/or photos of the people who made it all happen: organizer, coordinators, hosts, models, volunteers, photographers etc.

Organizer: Jeetha Sasi, founder of Mangalyam Me & You, was the main organizer. Her hard work and dedication seem to have paid off as her first bridal show was a success and had a great turnout.
Fashion Coordinators: These coordinators ensured the fashion show went on smoothly:
    • Janani S.
    • Shana G.
    • Shamini R.
    • Zamia K.

Models: There were about 100 models in total. Each fashion vendor had a number of models. Each of them did a great job representing designers' clothes/jewelry.

Make-up artists/Hairstylists: Since all eyes were on the models, they needed some help of make-up artists and hairstylists to make them look flawless.

Hosts: These two hosts kept the crowd entertained.
    • Johny H.
    • Venoth N.
